I am currently exhibiting in ‘Impressit’ at the Harris Museum in Preston (including the work below: ‘Mausoleum’, 2013 Adhesive Vinyl). The exhibition opens today and runs until 27th April).

Curated by staff from UCLan, Impressit celebrates the wide variety of printmaking happening today. As well as featuring internationally-respected printmakers and local artists, the exhibition explores the process of printmaking demonstrating a wide variety of innovative ways of creating prints.

Impressit (which means ‘has printed’ in Latin) is an exhibition of contemporary printmaking curated by printmakers and staff from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan): Pete Clarke, Tracy Hill and Magda Stawarska-Beavan.

Impressit brings together 10 internationally respected print makers who have links to UCLan. Artists featuring in the exhibition are: Roohi Ahmed (Pakistan), Gerry Baptist, Anne Desmet, Georg Gartz (Germany), Jason Hicklin, Wuon-Gean Ho, Katherine Jones, Jadranka, Njegovan (Holland), Oran O’Reilly and Bren Unwin.

Chelsea to West Ham

August 13, 2011

Below is a new Print titled ‘River Thames (Chelsea to West Ham)’. It is an archival digital inkjet print with Silkscreen printed elements. The image has been drawn within the computer – from a short length of rope that was found whilst ‘mud-larking’ on the shore of the River Thames in Wapping.

This print can be bought from ‘Oran O’Reilly Prints’
